TUES SEP 30, The REAL LEGENDARY LAST MSA IFTAR!!
I have to wait a WHOLE decade for the next iftar?
Upper Husky Den, HUB 1st floor, 6:50pm
Details below...
For those STILL FASTING, MSA-UW will be hosting IFTAR inshaAllah TUES SEP 30.
Ramadan will no longer come to us during the school year. So let us all get together for our last blessed Ramadan iftar Insha'Allah. The next time we will be able to break our fast together will probably be in a decade. Let's make the most of our last group iftar!
And may your blessings be too many to count...and your worries too few to matter. May your days be filled with sunshine...and your nights in comfort. May you never go hungry...and be able to share your bounty. May God bless and protect you...and strengthen your faith. May God Bless all the Muslimeen...and answer their prayers. May the next Eid we celebrate be free from all forms of oppression, hatred, persecution, and fear. The MSA wishes to all a blessed Ramadan and please remember those who go hungry all year long… Ramadan Mubarak.

"Fast for a day so someone else doesn't have to"
A day where YOU, THE MSA gets non-Muslims to try out fasting for ONE day and get businesses to pledge a dollar amount for each person that fasts. At the end of that day, everyone gathers for a free iftar dinner with the MSA and shares their experiences. All proceeds go to a local charity organization (i.e. Northwest Harvest).
Because there will only be roughly a week of Ramadan that runs into this school year, the MSA will NOT be having a Fast-A-Thon DURING Ramadan. The MSA is considering a possible Fast-a-Thon to take place AFTER Ramadan IF ENOUGH MSA MEMBERS are interested in pursuing the project.
